Recycles Rebrand

Concept: This rebrand emphasizes Recycles’ focus on customization, tailoring each bike to the individual customer. The concept is inspired by the five C’s: customizable, cozy, creative, community, and customer. Keeping these words in mind, I focused on creating a fun and engaging brand identity.

Task: Develop a new brand identity for the bike shop, Recycles, located in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, including a logo, merchandise, the store’s layout, and social media.

Roles: Researcher, Illustrator, Designer, Motion Designer

Programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Logo

This logo is designed in the shape of an “R” to represent the bike shop’s name, “Recycles.” It emphasizes the shop’s focus on customization, with each shape symbolizing a different part of a bike, highlighting the ability to mix and match parts to create a personalized bike. Additionally, the circle and the triangle subtly resemble a person, reinforcing the store’s commitment to the customer. I use the typeface Effra in the logotype to create a clean look, especially with capital letters.

Store Layout

Motion Graphic

To make the branding elements come to life, I created a motion graphic illustrating how one element transforms into another using the shapes.
